King's Park Woven Wildflower

Students have been busy creating a beautiful woven wildflower for the King's Park Spring Festival. Our woven wildflower will be exhibited in the Floral Regalia Art Installation along with hundreds of other created by the Perth community.
Many classes contributed to our 'Flowering Wattle'. Year 6 classes finger knitted the wool for weaving, Year 4 and 5 classes created pom poms and leaves to represent the Wattle blossoms and Year 1-3 classes helped to thread and weave them.
Families are encouraged to enjoy some time in King's Park during the festival to view our stunning Wattle along with numerous colourful creations in what is hoped to be the largest art installation the festival has had.
