Our 'House of Harmony' was a complete success!
Thank you so much to the wonderful parents and teachers who helped me in it's creation.
It is much appreciated.
Well done to the Lunchtime Artists, who painted the beautiful flowers for our pot plants at the front.
This year’s
Harmony Day theme was
‘Diversity
is our strength’
All students
discussed the ways in which they were different and
why being different is a
wonderful thing.
It allows us
to have new experiences.
It makes
things more interesting and not boring.
We are able
to learn new things and
Be a part of
a more vibrant and creative world.
Each year
level used a different medium to decorate a calico ‘brick’ with their
responses.
The
individual ‘bricks’ have been used to build the walls of our house, representing
the strength we have together because of our many differences.
We hope you
enjoyed our 2016 Harmony Day art installation titled, ‘The House of Harmony’.
