Welcome Back to the Art Room for Term 2! 

This term we fondly say goodbye to Ms Liz Agar. While she will be missed in the art room, you may see her around the school still teaching in Rm 22 on Fridays or when teachers are away. 

We welcome the talented Mrs Alison Braydon to our art room! Mrs Braydon will be teaching the Years 1, 2 and 4 on Mondays, Tuesdays and part of Wednesday. She is a welcome addition to the art room and has already begun creating some amazing masterpieces inspired by famous artists such as, Van Gogh, Rousseau and Picasso. We are excited to have her join us and look forward to seeing the gorgeous artworks she creates with our little artists. 

Lunchtime art will continue to run on Friday lunchtimes. I have been so proud of how well the students share the space and equipment. We are getting quite a few students join us, which is wonderful to see. Be sure to check the board outside the art room each Friday to see what you can create on that day. 

We very much appreciate donations to the art room and thank all those who have already bought things in for us to use. We are asking for cereal boxes (these can be flattened) of any size - the larger the better. These are great as an alternative canvas for us to create our art on.
