Back to School - Weeks One & Two!

What an interesting start to the term!
My favourite part was the amazing works of art that students bought in to share with me.
I love hearing about and seeing creative things done outside of the art room. I have watched videos showing boats and volcanoes students have made, heard about sculpture creations with things found around the home, seen beautiful drawings and paintings and so many other fabulous art creations that the children were busy making. It's fantastic to know they are getting creative and crafty and practising the theory and skills they have learnt.

The art room has looked a little different and maybe not as colourful as usual but this has not stopped us from getting creative and making some amazing artworks while revising and extending our learning of the Elements of Art and Art techniques.
