Painting the Landscape the Peter Coad Way!

Year 3 classes have been looking at the beautiful artwork of Peter Coad. Peter is an Australian artist whose gorgeous paintings can be seen in many galleries throughout Australia. He paints landscapes of places that he has travelled to around Australia and all over the World. 

The students found the layers of colours he uses, to represent the parts of the land, very interesting. They are creating their own landscapes using this layering effect in their own paintings. They will also be adding texture and found objects to their landscape.
