Good luck to the students in our Mini MAAC and MAAC classes who have completed an entry for the 2018 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest.
Students drew and coloured a dream car that helps either people, the environment or both. Their dream car could be any shape or form, the only limitation was their imagination.
The winning three entries in each year category receive a $750 apple with the overall winner named 'Australian Dream Car Champion' and will go to Japan for a special award ceremony.
There were many brilliant ideas and very helpful car designs from the students. Here are a few and what they do.
Home for the Homeless - My car drives around poor places and gives homeless people a place to accommodate. It provides clothes food and entertainment.
Eco Cleaner - The Eco Cleaner uses the sun (solar-power) to power the car. While it is generating energy it picks up pieces of rubbish to make the World a better place.
The Citrus Voyager - My car is an eco-friendly space engine that doesn't pollute the environment. It uses fruit juice to power itself and can help us learn more about space.
Refugee Rescuer - My self driving car comes around Australia and picks up homeless refugees and gives them a home. It educates them and it cooks as well. There's medical and lounge rooms too.
Space Patroller - My car can go anywhere in space. It drives around the planets and collects information to give to scientists to study.
Rubbish and Rescue Rover - My dream car can go to space and collect space junk. It collects space junk because it's a huge problem. It also researches space for new information.
The Water Dragon - The Water Dragon sprays water on fires and saves people from the fires. There's seats on its tail for people to sit and look at the scenery. Inside the boot there is a Mothers and Play Room for mothers to look after their young and for children to play in.
Art-arific Art Car - Introducing the Art-arific Art Car. It runs by solar power. It has fun activities in each room. You can even have your photo taken and then be able to have it framed.
Animal Daycare - My car travels around the World and helps animals.
The Dream-Catcher Car - My car traps bad dreams and puts a magical potion on them and turns them into good dreams. Good Night!
The Vet Car - My car helps pets that are poor and that need a lot of help. The Vet Car will help every pet that is poor.
The Spectacular Fertilizer Car - My car picks up rubbish from the ocean and flies to a place where it turns it into fertilizer.
The Beauty Salon Express - This car gives you a complete make over. Simply tell the car what you want and it will give it to you. Great for parties and other special occasions. It has a robot driver and a robot shop keeper. This is my sweet ride!
The Home Car - My car can be driven or it can go automatically and it is a home for you to live in.
The Water Octopus - My car sucks up water and then sprays it to the plants. It doesn't have a driver because it's solar powered.
The Fun Car - My car flies and it has a horn to help hurt people feel better. It is very fun inside and helps people to have fun with a pool, movie theater and Build-A-Bear store.
