Year 6 students have been painting landscapes. Their focus was colour and value (the light and dark within the picture). They also used line and shape to depict their features and brush stroke direction to add texture within the painting. 

Their first landscapes were from an image they selected from photographs. We now hope to go out and paint our own real life landscapes from the middle of our school oval.
