Harmony Day

The students' artwork for the Harmony Day art installation looked very impressive this year. Thankfully the weather held off for our ceremony.
Thank you to Mr Sherlock, Mr Sanderson and the students of Room 26 and 21 for helping to bring all the art work in out of the rain.
A massive thank you to the staff who battled the winds to help set up.

Harmony Day is a day to celebrate our cultural diversity.
It's about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.

Our art installation this year was created from the children's responses to the Harmony Day message, 'Everyone Belongs'.

Students used words, pictures, colours and shapes to convey this message in three different ways;
What it looks like, what it sounds like and what it feels like when everyone belongs.

We hope you enjoyed viewing the art work in our 'Path to Harmony' art installation.
