Year 1

The Year 2 classes have been inspired by the wild weather we have been having lately.
They have created these beautiful, 'Raindrops and Rainbows' using a wax resist technique.
This activity also focused on the order of colours in the colour spectrum (rainbow).
Many clever students also noticed it was the same order as the Colour Wheel. Although indigo and violet are referred to as purple.

They have also been creating clay mobiles inspired by this stormy weather. They have made storm clouds and raindrops out of rolled clay. We are waiting for them to dry before we can put them in the kiln.
