Royal Show Pigeons and Poultry School Art Competition!

Once again Wattle Grove will be entering art works into the Royal Show. Some of the Year 2, 4 and 6 classes have been busy creating some amazing pieces based on the pigeons and poultry theme.

Year 2's have created tissue paper collages with painted backgrounds which look absolutely adorable.

Room 8 and 24 have printed patterned scratch foam shapes in various colour combinations, that look absolutely brilliant.

Rooms 15 and 26 have experimented with a new technique, metal embossing. They scratched their drawn image into metal paper and added pattern for texture and highlighted with glitter and permanent markers. These were so much fun to create and look extremely effective.

It is going to be a terribly difficult job for the staff to select the entries to represent Wattle Grove at the Royal Show. Good luck to all the students who have completed their art works!
