Flowers in Bloom!

Year 1 classes have been upcycling magazines in Art. This is when we use recycled materials to create the art. They used mixed media to create these beautiful flowers including, magazines, oil pastels and textured ribbon. Shape was a very important art element they had to use when creating the different parts of their flowers. They also needed to choose their colours on their magazine pages to suit the parts of their flower, stem and leaves.
