Picasso Faces

What fun it was creating these Picasso faces. A roll of the dice told you what feature you were to add to your picture. The placement and colour choice, as well as additional features, were all up to the student.

Marvelous Matisse Cut Outs!
Some Year 2 and 3 classes have been investigating the Five Patterns in Nature; Spiral, meander, explosion, branching and packing. They used the patterns to create shapes for these Henri Matisse inspired artworks. They had to draw with scissors (no pencils allowed) and play with colour. Each shape was arranged and rearranged on the background until they were happy with the arrangement. The results are simply magnificent.
