Santa's Starry Night
The Year 1 students have been looking at the famous painting, 'Starry Night' by Vincent Van Gogh. They were captivated at his use of the art elements, line and colour, to make the painting seem like it was moving. Using oil pastels and Van Gogh as inspiration, they created their own 'Starry Night' with a twist - Santa and his reindeer flying in the night sky.

Christmas Pine Cones
Check out these gorgeous Christmas decorations the Year 2's have made. They used beads and pom poms to decorate pine cones. Some will be hung on their Christmas tree and others can stand alone.

Year 3 Christmas Craft
So much fun has been had by the Year 3 students while creating these gorgeous crafts. They have been decorating pine cones with beads and tinsel to make some beautiful Christmas trees. Using wool they created their own pom poms and then added eyes and arms to turn them into fluffy critters. They have also practised their threading skills when making beaded Christmas trees that can be used as a decoration or worn as jewellery.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
The Year 4 and 5 classes have been making the most of their last Art sessions, making some gorgeous Christmas decorations. From paper Christmas trees to wire stars, their creations are stunning and will be lovely additions to any Christmas.
